Our Partners
Peter McKenna
Peter trained with Daniel Spring & Company and qualified as a solicitor in 2005 following a successful career as a professional rugby player with Leinster and Ireland.
Peter specialises in employment law acting for both employers and employees on a broad assortment of workplace issues including investigations, disciplinary hearings, WRC complaints and Labour Court Appeals. He was the principal drafter of the first collective bargaining agreement in professional sport in Ireland, which is currently still in use.
In addition, Peter is a member of the Technology Committee of the Law Society of Ireland and has wide ranging experience in data protection, privacy and cybersecurity matters. He provides advice on general corporate matters, including reviewing and advising on commercial contracts, with expertise in litigation and sports law.
He is also a non-executive director with Rugby Players Ireland. Peter holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil law, Higher Diploma In Business Studies, Diploma In Management, Diploma In Employment Law, Diploma In Litigation And Corporate Governance, as well as a Certificate In Conveyancing.
Maresa Durcan
